Local Exmouth man, Peter Andrews, recently made a very generous donation of £620.00 on behalf of the Southampton Lodge of Brevity where he recently completed his tenure as Master of the Lodge.
Peter specially selected Exmouth RNLI as his chosen charity and said ‘As a local man and living close to the Lifeboat Station, I am well aware of the wonderful work the volunteers do in the charity and it was the most worthy cause I could think of.”
Receiving the cheque from Peter, Chairman of Exmouth RNLI Fundraising Committee, Rory Carrig, said “We are extremely grateful to Peter for choosing our charity as beneficiary. Our volunteers rely on such donations and fundraisers to maintain the important lifesaving work that we do and I’d like to thank him again for helping us.”
