From Sunday 11 May to Saturday 17 May, our crew volunteers have been training hard on our new state-of-the-art Shannon class lifeboat. Launching at 9am in the morning and recovering at approximately 6pm every day, the dedicated volunteers have learnt new drills and familiarise themselves around the R and J Welburn. We thank all our families and employers for supporting us through this extra commitment.
Here’s a video taken by Deputy Coxswain, Roger Jackson with his Quadcopter last Friday during recovery on Exmouth beach. Just look at their Shannon smiles: http://bit.ly/1mRdslE
