On the afternoon of 3 August, vigilant Exmouth RNLI volunteers spotted a total of seven people in difficulty in Lyme Bay. Six casualties from a capsized motor boat and a swimmer in danger were brought to safety by the charity’s Shannon and D class lifeboats. Read more

After two call-outs, Exmouth Lifeboat volunteers held their annual Sea Sunday service on 13 July at the boathouse on Queens Drive. Chaplain Reverend James Hutchings took the service, leading prayers and hymns for those who work and live by the sea. Read more
